Loved the size of the room, great staff, 95% of whom could not do enough for you. Great position.
I thought that the quality of food at dinner in particular the steak, could be improved upon. Was a little shocked to find that rooms started at 29 pounds when I blew my budget at 70 plus including breakfast. But over all except for some very loud early morning male guests a great place to stay.
Cental location was ideal.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel were excellent and so friendly!! Location is good as its central but not too noisy.
Friendly staff, location inside Glasgow
No fridge, no room safe, only limited free wireless access, poor room lightening, no closable wardrobe, only 2 already occupied power plug in the bedroom, pay upfront and not as in most hotel at checkout.
Good location, nice room. Good facilities for a business user.
Noise from drunk people during the night disturbed my sleep on several occasions. Television in room above mine was so loud it woke me again. Overall very disturbed night due to inconsiderate visitors, but this could apply to any city centre hotel.
I have used this hotel for the last 7 years as my 3 sons have attended Universitys in Glasgow. We have on occasions used other hotels when we could not get a room at the Premier Inn but always prefer to use it. We do use it for shopping trips but it is primarily used to visit our sons. 2 of my sons have completed university and have opted to stay in Glasgow so we will continue to use it to visit them.
We like the location of the hotel, the restaurant and the quietness that suits familys also.
Convenience, straightforwardness, friendly staff and great breakfast.
friendly staff, clean room, and excellent resturants and bars within walking distance
Nice and central especially for shopping
very close to shops & transport links, rooms very comfortable-plenty towels & extra pillows, nice restaurant & bar within the hotel
Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, good service from the staff, good food in the restaurant and bar, good that it had a bar, good, but quiet location near George Square
The lack of individual soaps and shampoos. Did not like the dispensers. A list of TV channels and numbers would have been helpful. There were so many and I did not know any of them.
Central location useful and surprisingly quiet (I stayed on a Tuesday night)
I felt the waitressing staff were very helpful and courteous
finding out that not having the room I was assured was available didn't exist
I have used this hotel b4 because its near Merchant City, as I am gay, the gay 'scene' pubs, clubs restaurants are all near by.
I have stayed in serveral Premier Inns and they never disappoiont. The one in George Street is very convenient for the city centre as it is just off George Square.
